Our mission is to reverse the damaging impact conventional agriculture has had on our environment through pasture-based raising techniques, as a method to rebuild the soil with proper grazing and land management. Our farmers are required to adhere to specific protocols that ensure the animals & land are being cared for harmoniously.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS GLUTEN FREE?
ARE YOUR SAUSAGES KOSHER?
DO YOUR SAUSAGES CONTAIN NITRITES/NITRATES?
Nope! They are nitrite/nitrate free except those occurring naturally in sea salt and celery powder.
WHAT KIND OF SAUSAGE CASINGS DO YOU USE?
We use all natural pork (kielbasa, brats) and sheep (hot dog) casings. That’s why our links have such a great snap.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS “ORGANIC”?
Our goods are not certified organic. While “organic” is a valuable industry standard, it has become a political tool used by lobbyists to promote the overall growth of the industrial food supply. It is an expensive and vigorous certification process that is designed to shut out the little guy -- our guy -- the small American family farmer. Our meat is raised naturally, humanely and organically without the stamp. The ‘heritage,’ ’grassfed’ and all-natural claims are far more valuable to us and our family.
ARE YOUR PRODUCTS READY TO EAT?
Yes. They are all fully cooked so if you're in a pickle like running a marathon in the desert or free soloing a mountain, you can 100% eat them straight out of the package. We think they’re better seared in a cast iron or tossed in a soup or grilled outside. But, hey, that’s just us. You do you.
I’M BUYING HOT DOG BUNS - HOW LONG ARE YOUR DOGS?
Six inches. It’s really totally normal and totally respectable. Totally.
HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THEM IN MY FRIDGE?
We use high pressure packaging so, unopened and thanks to the magic of science, you can keep the sausage in your fridge for about two months. At that point, start living your life and eat the sausage already! Alternately, pop them in the freezer for up to a year.
HOW SHOULD I STORE SAUSAGES IF I DON’T COOK THE WHOLE PACK?
If we have extras (which is rare) we store then in a reusable tupperware. You can also tightly wrap them in saran wrap or pop them in a ziplock. Once open, you should eat or freeze the sausages within 5-7 days.
All of our products are uncured, which means that we do not use color preservatives like many other companies do. This means that oxidation can naturally occur on the surface of the sausages once they have been removed from the high pressure packaging. Don’t be alarmed! If you are ever alarmed, please email us. Send us photos. A narrative. Whatever you like and we’ll get back to you ASAP.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY ORDER TO GET TO ME?
Orders ship out within 24 hours and arrive to your door in 1-2 business days. (I.e. If you order before 10AM on a Monday, you’ll be eating brats by Wednesday. Order after 2pm and they’ll show up on Thursday.) Sausages arrive in a cooler lined boxed with several ice packs. They’re safe to keep in the shipping box for up to 48 hours but we suggest popping them in the fridge once they arrive.
WILL THEY ARRIVE FROZEN OR FRESH?
Our products are fresh and never frozen! If you want to freeze the sausages, go for it. Keep in mind, once you freeze you shouldn't thaw, change your mind, and refreeze. Multiple freezing and thawing compromises the sausage and the great texture we work so hard to achieve.
Return and Exchanges
-We do not currently offer returns and exchanges. If your order is delivered and it is not cold, provided that it has not sat on your doorstep for some time, we will provide a refund or a replacement.
