THIYAL COCONUT COOKING PASTE: Fresh Coconut, Tamarind Pulp, Black Pepper, Coriander, Mustard, Fenugreek, Turmeric, Curry Leaf. This Kerala, South Indian original curry makes cooking something unique ~ easy! Fresh coconut slow roasted until the oil seeps out, then blended with tamarind and spices, to make this rich and easy to use paste. THIYAL can be added to boiling water to make a rich simmer sauce, or used as oil in a pan to stir-fry vegetables or meats in, try adding it to rice water to make a coconut rice! We love to simmer in slow cooking meats, cauliflower or just onions!

LASOON / GARLIC NUT CRUMBLE: Garlic (U.S. grown), Sesame, Peanut, Coconut, Cayenne Pepper. Garlic Slow Roasted in 3 oil nuts; sesame, coconut and peanut with a light pepper heat. Lovely to crumble on cooked food or cook with to make an outstanding tasty dish! A Bombay favorite re-imagined! Roast, toast, rub & crumble, LASOON is very versatile! Sprinkle on squash and bake, on cheese and hummus plates! Bagels and cream cheese! On popcorn, use as a rub on meats or tofu and sear, saute with onions and veggies, sprinkle on pasta, Daal, toast on bread to make crostini, roast with nuts (YUM!), Toast it and sprinkle on ice cream!

From our Seasonal Salt Pickle Collection, this tasty and sophisticated happy marriage of an Indian Achaar and a Pickled Relish is layered with rich flavor. Use as a marinade or eat like a relish! Brightens up any dish with exquisite flavor. Fresh picked green tomatoes are fermented in salt for 6 weeks, then set in a thick bright brine of ginger / garlic and seasoned with our own hand milled spice combination. Great cooked with meats, roasted chicken, chickpeas, barbecue, take on a picnic, add to cheese and hummus.
